Fundado por un grupo de músicos apasionados por el Mariachi en el año 2001.

En Mariachi Continental de San Diego llevamos la música por dentro, interpretamos con emotividad, orgullo, y pasión, deleitando a públicos en todo tipo de eventos, desde fiestas hasta conciertos.

Nuestros músicos tienen un conocimiento musical del más alto calibre, además de una imagen impecable y una presentación profesional, desde los trajes hasta el porte.

Durante los últimos 200 años el Mariachi, su música, y su cultura han formado parte de las celebraciones y folklore mexicanos.

Y ahora, en la actualidad, el mariachi ha logrado trascender las fronteras de México, y ha sido recibido con brazos abiertos en todo el mundo dentro y fuera de los países de habla hispana.

El Mariachi se lleva en la sangre y va ligado a nuestras vidas desde nuestro nacimiento, hasta nuestras muertes. Un padre orgulloso abraza a su hijo mientras el Mariachi les toca un alegre son para celebrar el bautizo del pequeño.

La alegría que se dibuja en el rostro de la gente al escuchar las alegres coplas de las mañanitas no tiene comparación. El celebrado, rodeado de familia, esperando recibir el abrazo de todos y darle las gracias por su compañía.

Our father adored Mariachi music. He especially loved “Spanish Eyes.” The Mariachis played outside the funeral service for our father, which was held at the beautiful Spanish mission church of the Basilica of San Juan Capistrano. The musicians then entered the church, and led the processional with the casket following, playing “Spanish Eyes.” It was a wonderful tribute to our father. This band is made up of very talented musicians, who carry themselves with so much dignity and pride that they were invited to play inside the Basilica. The priest was the one who suggested that they play and walk down the aisle and lead the processional… Which I think was breaking with the tradition of the church! Thank you!
